The nominations for the 2024 Redbridge Youth Elections are now open!

This information has gone out to all Secondary Schools in the Borough, but as we know some young people need support and encouragement to take up opportunities – which is where you come in!

If you have young people that would like to nominate themselves to be our next Youth MPs – please support them to do so or contact Simeon for more information.

As always if young people are not wanting to be a Member of Youth Parliament (MYP), but would like to join our Youth Council or the Child Friendly Redbridge Ambassadors – again either contact Simeon or go to Redbridge - Get involved! See what's on for you

The closing date for applications is 6pm on Monday 4th December 2023.

The election will run from Monday 5th February until Friday 16th February 2024 and ballot papers and ballot boxes can be provided.

Make Your Mark gives all young people aged 11-18 in the UK the chance to have a say on the biggest issues facing young people: https://www.byc.org.uk/uk/uk-youth-parliament/make-your-mark

Voting will take place between 29th January 2024 and 8th March 2024. Registration opens on 1st November 2023.
