Registration for the 11 plus tests for secondary transfer September 2019 has been open since 1 May and will remain open until 5pm on 27 June 2018. Parents can only register for the 11 Plus test between the registration opening and closing dates. It is not possible to register after the closing date on 27 June.
Who can register for the 11 Plus test?
Anyone can register for the test, they do not have to live within the Common Catchment Area, or provide documentary evidence of their residence at this time. However, we note that no places for either grammar school have been offered to successful candidates who live outside of the Common Catchment Area for several years.
Open evenings for Redbridge grammar schools
Both Ilford County and Woodford County High Schools have their open evenings on 21 June from 6pm and parents should be encouraged to visit, if they are unsure if the school would suit their child.
When will the 11 Plus tests take place?
The 11 plus selection tests will take place on Saturday 15 September 2018.
Who gets priority for a place if they pass the test?
The admission arrangements for the grammar schools for September 2019 admission give priority to pupils who attract the Pupil Premium and who pass the 11 plus test. We would encourage parents of children receiving free school meals to register their child for the test, as it is not necessary for children to receive tuition to pass the test.
