Vacancy service for childminders

One of our key tasks is to provide free information to parents wishing to find suitable childcare in their local area. We aim to keep up to date with childminder vacancies so that we are providing both childminders and parents with the best possible service.

Our vacancy service means that childminders are able to circulate the details of their vacancies to the widest possible audience:

  • FiND is advertised widely throughout the borough with posters, cards and leaflets in libraries, community centres, council offices, and on the council website. We work closely with schools to allow parents to access information about after school care
  • FiND regularly organise local events for parents and attend local events where parents may be present
  • FiND run surgeries for new parents in local clinics.

As a childminder you can contact us when you have childcare vacancies - this will allow us to provide parents with the very latest information in their area. Parents who are looking for childcare can get in touch with FiND and we send out lists of these current vacancies alongside information about choosing childcare; funding for childcare etc.

Once we have received your completed FiND Childminder Consent Form you can advertise your service through us - information you provide on this form will be made available to parents so they can focus their search on the most suitable childcarers for them.
