We are an Ofsted registered parenting assessment centre based in Ilford.
The main house can accommodate up to four family groups in spacious and modern en-suite rooms. We have 24 hour monitoring via CCTV.
The Transition Unit ‘next door’ contains five individual flats and is for families who do not require 24 hour monitoring or for those care leavers with children who require ongoing support and guidance.
We can accommodate family groups of up to five members (children up to age 6) as part of the assessment process.
We also take pregnant women and their partners (if appropriate) prior to the birth for a pre-birth assessment and subsequent post birth parenting capacity assessment.
Every family is assigned an experienced social worker and key worker who will take responsibility for undertaking the Parenting Capacity Assessment.
Our staff come from a variety of professional backgrounds including substance misuse workers, children’s nurses, early years workers, domestic abuse specialist and mental health. There is also a psychotherapist who works with the families where appropriate.
We use a variety of tools as part of our assessment including The Home Inventory and PAMs models.
