Equal Chances (PSLA)

What is this activity?

The Equal Chances Service shall enable and support pre-school children who have additional needs to attend a mainstream pre-school setting and participate in pre-school activities: achieving their potential as they play and learn alongside their peers.

Who is it for?

The Children and Young People shall consist of children aged between two and five years, resident in the Authority, with two or more additional needs.  Equal Chances shall be accessible to all and PSLA shall positively support the diverse and varied needs of the Children and Young People who are resident in Redbridge who access, or wish to access, the Service.

Outcomes for service users

The Service shall meet the following outcomes for each Service User, in line with the Every Child Matters Outcomes:

Be Healthy; Stay Safe; Enjoy and Achieve; Make a Positive Contribution; and, Achieve Economic Wellbeing.

Referral needed?
Referral Details

Referrals must be made through the Pre-School Liaison Group (PSLG). To be referred to the PSLG please contact your Health professional (i.e. GP, Health Visitor), a contact you may have within Education or Social Services, or someone from the voluntary or private sector.
