We are very proud of our school and we strive to do the very best we can for all our pupils. We are quite a young school having been formed in 2006 from the amalgamation of Redbridge Infants and Redbridge Junior schools. A highly successful Ofsted inspection in March 2008 showed the school functioning well and providing a good quality of education for the children.
Here are some interesting facts about the school that will give you some background:
- We are a 3 form entry community primary. Currently, there are just over 700 pupils on roll aged from three and a half to eleven years of age. The school is set in a leafy part of the outer London Borough of Redbridge.
- We are lucky enough to have really good facilities including a large field, three halls, two playgrounds and a small swimming pool. We also have a quad area with pet rabbits in and a pond.
- Our curriculum is built on the philosophy that children learn best through experience so we do have lots of visitors in school and lots of visits to museums, concerts and places of interest. Our parents come along and support these, for which we are very grateful.
