The Ambulance Service

The Ambulance Service takes care of sick and injured people in an emergency. They use big ambulances that can carry sick or injured people, or sometimes a paramedic arrives in a car or on a motorbike to give urgent treatment before an ambulance arrives – the paramedics can get through the traffic quickly.

This website tells you more about the ambulance service, including how to call an ambulance. Remember you must never call an ambulance as a joke or to see what happens – only call them in an emergency.
