Oxford University Rees Centre for Research in Fostering and Education

The aim of the Rees Centre is to contribute to the improvement of the outcomes and life chances of looked-after children and young people.

The research of the Rees Centre has a particular focus on carers and the wide range of organisations that provide for looked-after children. It also focuses on building a sense of attachment, security and belonging for young people, and achieving improved educational outcomes, health and well-being.
