Local SEND Offer Services and Activities Forms
Reforms to the systems of support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) under the Children and Families Act 2014 requires every local council in England to publish a detailed directory of information, advice and support, known as the ‘Local SEND Offer’.
The purpose of the Local Offer is to help families and practitioners find the services they need, when they need it, and in a consistent and user-friendly format. To this end, FiND have designed a form to ensure all these requirements can be met.
To include your service in Redbridge's Local Offer, which will be hosted on the Informed Families Section of the FiND website:
- read the Introduction (Background and Guidance)
- complete Part 1: Overview of Service and Activities
- complete Part 2: Details of each Activity*
*Please complete a Part 2 Form for each activity provided.
