STAAR (Supporting Together Autism with Activities in Redbridge) & GameStaars

STAAR is a group of people in and around the London Borough of Redbridge living with autistic spectrum disorder, their parents, families, carers and other supporters.

We offer mutual support and advice, and provide activities and opportunities for our members that may not be available to them elsewhere because of their disabilities/ additional needs. These activities include after-school clubs, small group trips, social events for carers and outings for the whole family. All of our services are run by a small group of busy volunteers and we always enjoy welcoming new people to our group.

GameStaars is a gaming club set up by and for our young people. It is managed by our knowledgeable and inclusive STAAR volunteers. Our young people have access to the most popular consoles, video games, board and card games. It is a friendly place to chill out and meet new people with similar interests whilst enjoying the best games on the market. STAAR provides food and drink during breaks.

GameStaars is open Sundays and is suitable for that 11+. Find us at St.Gabriel’s Church Hall: 12 Aldersbrook Road E12 5HH. Please email us on staaremail@gmail.com before attending for the first time.

Fees: £5 per session. Please bring cash.
