Warm Zones

Warm Zones is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that aims to facilitate the efficient and effective integrated and appropriate delivery of practical measures to alleviate fuel poverty and improve domestic energy efficiency in defined areas.

We achieve this by working in partnership in various locations across the country to deliver an integrated package of energy efficiency measures, benefits and energy advice services.

Warm Zones was originally formed in 2000-01 and supported by the UK government to trial a new not-for-profit area based partnership approach to delivering energy efficiency measures and address fuel poverty.

Initially five Warm Zone pilot projects were established (with a sixth added in 2002) and delivered between 2001-04 across England, with additional Warm Zone projects following the successful completion of the initial pilot phase.
