Young Adult Carers Transition Project (RCSS)

Young Adult Carers Transition Project

If you are aged between 17-25 years old and caring for someone the Young Adult Carers Transition Project can support you in a number of ways:

General Advice/Individual support

Need advice on care packages, benefits, employment, education, training, volunteering and housing or just want someone to talk to.

Young Adult Carers Group

The group meets monthly on the second Wednesday of every month from 6pm-8pm. This is your chance to meet and talk to other Young Adult Carers in Redbridge. It's a very relaxed group and we often sit and have a chat or do different activities e.g. creative activities, mocktail making, budgeting.

Social Activities

We also offer a range of different social activities every other month such as going out for dinner, going to comedy clubs going to theme parks, day trips and creative activities.

Training and Self Development Courses

Various courses are arranged throughout the year either at our centre or through specialist providers such as employability skills, budgeting, confidence building and lots of different creative workshops e.g. film making, music workshops.
