Become (Who Cares?)

Ever wished you could have useful information all in one place?

Well, The Who Cares Trust has made a start. They've got a new website for children and young people who are separated from their families and living in residential or foster care.

You'll find tips on healthy eating, inspirational stories from young people in care, articles about anything from keeping fit to having a good time and that's not all - this section is set to grow but not without YOUR INPUT! Take a look around and let them know what you think.

Who Cares? is a national charity working to improve public care for children and young people who are separated from their families and living in residential or foster care.

Despite recent advances in policy and legislation, many children in care still face a future of extreme under-achievement, instability and poverty. All too often, these children are on the outside looking in on the opportunities their peers experience as a matter of course. They can feel socially excluded for their whole lifetime; their trust and self-esteem can be so undermined that they are unable to achieve their full potential. They have to cope with obstacles far beyond the normal milestones of development experienced by all children as they grow up.
