EAL Assessment Guidelines

The following materials were produced and trialled in schools to test pupils abilities in their first language to provide comparative data when considering whether or not they may have SEN. They are informed by ‘Assessing the Needs of Bilingual Pupils: Living in Two languages; by Deryn Hall 2001 and were developed by Clare Dorothy in association with SENCOs, Speech Therapists and Educational Psychologists  in Tower Hamlets.
