Special Needs and Parents (SNAP)

SNAP is a charity for Essex families who have children aged 0 to 25 with special needs or disabilities. The children's disabilities are wide-ranging: including autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, sensory impairment, speech and language difficulties and learning disabilities.
SNAP are only able to support families who live under Essex County Council, Thurrock and Southend.
SNAP provides a wide range of services including support groups and meetings, telephone support and information, drop-in service, music therapy, sibling support and social events for parents and children. SNAP also produce a directory of useful contacts, have a specialist library available and produce a termly newsletter.
