Aanchal Women's Aid

Aanchal Women’s Aid is an organisation that supports women and their children by offering a free and confidential service for Asian women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. They help in their rescue, rehabilitation and the rebuilding of their lives and their guiding principle is that they never turn away a women in need. Services include a telephone helpline, emotional support, group work and counselling. They also provide advice on housing, matrimonial matters, welfare rights, debt and referrals to solicitors.

Languages spoken include: Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Sylheti, Tamil and Urdu.
