The children and staff mirror the multicultural local community. The school is situated in a pleasant environment which includes large playgrounds, a field, a pond, wild life area, garden and trees.
The school is well resourced, including interactive white boards in all classrooms and also in some of the larger group rooms. A dedicated computer room provides space for PPA activities. Re-modelling has created a new space for the library which has also been refurbishied.
The curriculum at Farnham Green Primary School is largely delivered through a creative theme, although English and Mathematics are still taught discretely each day.
The children are taught in comfortably furnished and well resourced classes, in a caring, warm and friendly atmosphere. The curriculum is designed to encourage the development and exploration of a wide range of skills. The curriculum also addresses the needs of a multi-ethnic and a multi-faith community and promotes equal opportunities and environmental issues.
