Making your home super safe for your little ones (Redbridge LSCB)

Most home accidents and injuries are preventable and accidental injuries at home are the leading cause of death in children aged over one.

The Redbridge Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP), a cross-disciplinary team of professionals, review all child deaths in the borough, identifies any lessons learnt and makes recommendations to the LSCB on how to improve children’s health and wellbeing and to prevent future child deaths.

The Redbridge LCSB House Tour educational leaflet is designed to help parents and carers learn where the dangers are for choking, suffocating, burning, poisoning, falling and drowning in every room of a typical house. It is also to help them realise the simple actions they can take which may avoid serious accidents and the stress and distress that comes with these accidents.
