Wheelchair Service Redbridge

You can get a wheelchair through the NHS wheelchair service.

You will be referred to the service by a hospital, doctor, consultant or occupational therapist. Before you can be offered a wheelchair, you’ll have to undergo an assessment. This will determine if you're eligible and, if so, what type of mobility equipment is most appropriate. The assessment is normally carried out at NHS wheelchair services centres or clinics.

Redbridge wheelchair service

Redbridge wheelchair service provides and maintains wheelchairs for adults or children unable to walk or who have a permanent disability which affects their walking. The service will not treat anyone with a temporary disability which stops them walking. They will support you with your clinical needs and provide you with a wheelchair and postural support seating that’s right for you, as well as support you with maintenance and periodic reviews to see how you are getting on.

The service is provided by AJM Healthcare.

They run clinics from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm at:
