Redbridge Foodbank is part of a national network of foodbanks, giving out nutritionally balanced emergency food to people in crisis who have nowhere else to turn.
Foodbanks also offer additional support to help break the cycle of poverty, putting people in touch with relevant agencies who can offer further support.
Clients who need to access foodbank after 4pm during the week can do so at our Ilford New Testament Church of God (Newbury Park) Centre which opens at 7pm on Tuesday evenings. Alternatively, our City Gates Centre at Teen Challenge, Uphall Road and Jubilee Church Centre both open on Saturday mornings.
Redbridge Foodbank also seek volunteers to help with its programme.
Please note that people wishing to access the Foodbank must be referred by a care professional that works with the family or individual.
If you would like to donate essential goods there are collection points in a number of places across the borough including Tesco in Barkingside and Halifax Bank in Ilford. There is also a new collection point in Redbridge Town Hall from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
