Scope (London branch)

Scope is a disability organisation whose focus is people with cerebral palsy. Their aim is that disabled people achieve equality: a society in which they are as valued and have the same human and civil rights as everyone else.

Their site is a great place to find out that you are not alone, to find out more information on what might be available to you and to work through your feelings.

You may like to consider joining Scope's membership or find out about their services for people with cerebral palsy, their families and carers. These focus on those areas where disabled people face the greatest inequality, such as early years, education, work and independent living.

From this website, you can also download leaflets for parents as well as factsheets on therapies and other aspects of living with disability.
