e-Bug for Young Adults (Public Health)

e-Bug gives educators the skills, knowledge and confidence to teach about important health topics using e-Bug resources.

NICE guidance released in January 2017, recommends that schools use e-Bug to teach students about the topics of hygiene and antibiotics. e-Bug consists of the following resources:

• KS2 lesson packs
• Assembly Activities Pack
• Introduction to Microbes
• Resources for schools and general practitioners and much more.

PHE operate a free health education resource called e-Bug - now in its 10th year, which aims to reduce antibiotic resistance by helping children and young people understand infections and antibiotic use. It's a valuable resource not only because it's free to access, but it's also available in 22 languages.
