Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) Consultation

Following feedback shared so far from families and other stakeholders within the Redbridge community the syllabus has been reviewed and redrafted to reflect comments and consider the perspectives of families in the guidance of when to deliver the RSHE Statutory content.

Some schools across the borough are choosing to use the Redbridge syllabus to guide how they deliver Relationship, Sex and Health Education lesson content within their school. This will differ from school to school and the rationale for school decisions will be detailed in the school policy.

Your school will be sharing information about parent consultation with you directly.

In the meantime please view the 3rd Draft of the LBR Syllabus for both Primary and Secondary along with the 3rd Draft of the Model Policy below.

If you would like to offer positive or constructive feedback on these redrafted versions you can do so via the feedback form.
