Local SEND Offers from early education providers in Redbridge

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours per week free early education. This offer is also available to 2 year olds whose parents are in receipt of benefits, have SEN or a disability or are looked after by the local authority. Early Education is provided by day nurseries, pre-schools, nursery classes in maintained schools and childminders (early years settings).

All early years settings that are registered with Ofsted have to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You should check with your setting if they are registered. The EYFS sets out the statutory learning and care standards that all early years providers must meet. It also states all registered early years settings must have arrangements in place to support children with SEN or disabilities. Many childcare providers have attended training to help them develop their knowledge and skills in working with children who have additional needs.
